Preparing for Winter Heating Season

While we typically do not rely on winter weather forecasts until early November, it appears the trend of volatile weather in 2021 will continue to at least Halloween.

We are still eagerly waiting for the “shoulder months” – periods between cooling and heating season where the temperatures outside sit comfortably between 45 degrees and 65 degrees Fahrenheit. With outside close enough to buildings’ ideal internal temperatures, operators can open economizers and use all or mostly outside air.

Remember, it’s not too soon to begin your maintenance ahead of the winter heating season.
